The Republic Square Fellowship and the Bake Sale Tea Party combine to make Perfect Recipe. The project does not assert perfection but questions its relationship to the physical and social landscape we've inherited. This is not utopia, or maybe it is.
Fellowship Recipients:/

Harold McMillan - - $300
Sodalitas - - $200
Honorable Mentions:
Ellen Bartel
Ron Berry

Sylvia Orozco, Director, Mexic-Arte Museum
On April 23 we held a bake sale in Republic Square. We raised money to endow a fellowship recognizing outstanding cultural contributions to the city of Austin. The bake sale and the fellowship award together comprise Perfect Recipe. The project does not assert perfection but questions its relationship to the physical and social landscape we've inherited. This is not utopia, or maybe it is.
In conjunction with Cook & Ruud and Art Alliance Austin .
The Perfect Recipe is made possible with the support of City of Austin - Parks and Recreations Department and Downtown Austin Alliance.
