The transition from sleep to waking is fleeting and hard to pin point. Druecke set up his camera at the bedside of twenty-five people. He provided a cable release, and instructed the participants to snap their photo the very first thing upon waking. He was not present for the photos and the project continues Druecke's interest in conceptually structured aesthetics .
